Vitaware uses AI-powered automation to perform scan pre-processing and treatment planning. Our advanced algorithms identify and high quality patient-specific treatment plans and allow convenient adjustment.

Broad clinical guidelines are observed by all treatment plans generated, while your patient’s anatomy and your own clinical preferences further guide the plans put forward.

The system focuses on serving general dentists who are expected to deploy mild-to-moderate treatments, principally with aesthetic goals.

The automation built in to OrthoLab treatment planning is optimised for anterior improvements, where posterior occlusion is reasonable good already, and where spacing/crowding and discrepancies in arch size can be handled with modest IPR and more localised expansion/contraction.

More advanced case types are possible, but may require some manual input and a more experienced hand is recommended.

We aim to support dentists with no prior experience of orthodontic treatments to start using clear aligners.

OrthoLab technicians are not able to create full treatment plans on your behalf, however they may offer specific suggestions to improve plans or in some case create direct modifications for your review.

The Vitaware OrthoLab app is fully accredited, holding a Class I medical device certification with the MHRA as a decision support system for clear aligner treatment planning.

Aligners fulfilled by Vitaware or its partner labs are manufactured and quality controlled within registered labs in the UK and audited regularly under DAMAS.

The system is fully GDRP compliant and all patient data is stored securely on the cloud within the EEA according to strict standards for data protection, security, and compliance.
